The high-pressure .75" thick laminate top is the same material used on kitchen counter tops, and is designed to resist wear, scratches, stains, water, and burns. The work surface includes a backer sheet and a steel apron for added strength, and the offset panel legs ingeniously have the folding mechanism mounted to the rear to provide a clear, wide space for knees and toes. The legs are made with heavy wall 1" x 2" steel tubing, and come with a panel that matches the top. For safety and stability, the legs have adjustable nylon glides.
