Not only is this file resistant to damage caused by fire, but it's also resistant to water damage caused by sprinklers and fire hoses. The solid, two-steel wall construction creates a one-piece body with no seams or screws, enclosing the insulation around each drawer and keeps insulation out of files and suspension.
This three-drawer, 38" wide lateral file has a labyrinth sealing system and special gasket on each drawer that provides extra security from damage and keeps water from sprinklers and fire hoses out. Drawers are designed to hold letter or legal size hanging files and lock for security. MTC-Grade B certification guarantees fire protection of CDs, DVDs, USBs and memory sticks accomplished without the need for an interior vault or box.
