Ideal for senior residents, recovering patients, and patients at high risk for falls, the Alterra electric bed frame will provide security and comfort. The head area, foot area and height are controlled by four DC electric motors that provide smooth and silent operation so that users can experience independent head and knee elevation for the maximum amount of comfort. This bed is also fully mobile, so that staff can easily access floors and walls to reach outlets, clean, and more. With a 500 lb weight capacity, this bed frame will accommodate most patients and residents.

The Alterra high-low bed is well-built with a metal frame and secure central locking system that keeps the bed resting on sturdy legs regardless of the bed's positioning or frequent use. The height of the 80"W x 34.5"D bed can be adjusted from 7.75"" to 29.88"H, with no unwanted horizontal movement. This allows nurses and healthcare staff to easily access the patient or resident while standing, or to lower the bed at night so that the user can avoid high falls. This bed also has eight 3" casters (four lockable) for easy mobility. The patent-pending folding foot lock swings out of the way when not in use to avoid tripping, and this bed frame meets the FDA's guidelines for reducing the risk of entrapment.
